Rally in the Valley

Rally in the Valley was held August 6, 2022 at The Valley in Tacoma, Washington. The event drew nearly 150 bikes packed in the modest size biker bar destination’s parking lot… and a few others near by. The show ran from 10-3, or so. To be fair we did say no one had to leave at 3… So some stayed until the mood suited them.

During the last hour of the show THE TON Magazine presented trophies for Best in Show (Jordan Peterson), Best Chopper (Suave), and Best Foreign (Timothy Grisham). The trophies were finished by Eighttwelve Inc. But the show was not about trophies or winners.

Owing to Tacoma’s rich working class history of innovation and grit, Rally in the Valley was about the garage builders and road wizards who brought in their own bikes, had some beers, and celebrated Pacific Norhwest choppers of all sorts.
